Subject: Phone Went West
I was at this show. It was 1/2 the price of the New Years Eve show and the next night the Flaming Lips were playing at the Bill Graham Civic.

It was awesome. It was long. I'm the guy off in the distance that yells Yeahhhhhh during the start of Phone Went West. That is one of my favorite songs, and it was not on many of the set liss since 2002. I was totally surprised that they played it. That shit always happens to me at The Fillmore. Some band ends up playing a song I totally did not expect.

Sound is pretty decent on this recording, a little muddy, but really decent.

Subject: MMJ Fri before NYE
This was a great show and surprisingly was relatively empty at the Fillmore. I think a lot of people were saving themselves for a big weekend. This is a good enough recording - I just wish there wren't so much background chatter.
