Originally released in November 2002 in a limited CDR run of 50 copies. 19 copies went to the band, 4 to the hosts and the remaining 27 were given away to listeners of Wired for Sound during the 2002 annual fundraising effort for Ryerson University's CKLN 88.1 FM.
Wired for Sound showcases live music playing in and around Toronto. Highlights of many of the shows were captured both at the station and in the clubs. Among them, Gentleman Reg, Lake Holiday, Imperial Teen, The Hidden Cameras, Royal City, Moldy Peaches, Sufjan Stevens, Picastro, and many others.

"Theme" was recorded by Tim Muirhead at a studio somewhere. All other tracks recorded and compiled by Five Seventeen at The 360 Club, The Cameron House, CKLN, Clinton's, The Horseshoe Tavern, Lee's Palace, The Oasis, The Rivoli, Sneaky Dee's, Ted's Wrecking Yard (RIP), The Tequila Lounge.
The lack of song titles is intentional. When recording (and broadcasting) the shows, seldom were the songs accompanied by titles. Rather than create titles for the few songs which do not appear elsewhere all songs are represented by the date they were recorded. However, it should be noted that Melissa McClelland's song was originally performed by the Weakerthans. All others are original recordings.
