Subject: One of America's GREAT bands
I can honestly say that I saw them "back in the day." They are much better now. Why? First, they are even better musicians now than ever before which says a lot. Second, they are better songwriters.
As far as I am concerned you only need two words to describe MOB: uncompromising and relentless.
See them this summer if you can. They are playing shows in Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, D.C. and Chicago.
Last but not least: turn it up!
I go to a lot of shows here in NYC and I go to SXSW every year and the only artists that come close to these guys are PJ Harvey, The White Stripes and Nick Cave.
Trust me (OK, the mekons).
