moe. was on this show, george, kyles song, and the run on buster were out of control. i wasnt impressed with the atmosphere of lupo's. even rob was fed up w the drunk fat kid on stage who wouldnt get off. steely dan cover always fun to hear. dont miss new years w these guys.

Subject: anti chatterbox
Hi,

I managed to get through the recording, which is otherwise very good. I have actually been listening to this hopped up version of George over and over again, its terrific.

I may start an anti chatterbox campaign. I seem to be a chatterbox magnet. Anywhere i move in the crowd, there is some chick talking about her mantroubles or some random crap.

Think: Is what you have to say that important that you cant say it before or after the music????

Be considerate FFS.

ha. now that you mention it that damn girl is all i can hear. chalk up another ruined recording due to a boozed up chick. fantastic.

Subject: Annoying girl
Good Lord. There is a girl who is obnoxious as hell throughout the recording. I am up to Bullet right now and she is making me want to kill myself. I hope someone gave her a good smacking. That's really all I have to contribute as I have not listened to the whole show and don't know if I ever will if this chick continues to be this obnoxious.

Subject: Rob's a red sox fan
I'm sure I have a recording from Boston where Rob is wearing a red sox hat( he mentions it in the banter) He responds to the Yankees suck chant by saying that not all yankees fans are bad, he says something like "so and so is a yankees fan and he's not all bad because he gave me a signed Carl Yastremski book." I know this has nothing to do with the show so I'll shut up now, and I took offense to you saying he wore it as a bet. btw Buffalo is a long way from NYC, barely even Yankees turf ;)

Subject: Where does the time go?
The crowd was a drag having to put up with assholes who know nothing about our scene. The band on the other hand tore it up. With solid sets NYC to close is always fun. Buster, The Pit. A awesome 3 song string to open the 2nd set.. Overall i enjoyed the night Lupo's is a neat venue.... Next stop NYC Peace

Subject: moe. stays true to NYC roots
So took the trip up to Lupos from NJ for the show. Show was nice definately a buncha highlights in there, crowd could have given a little more but its lupos soo ya gotta expect it. Oh for example the two fans who decided to get onto their friends sholders and start dancing together and eventually made it on stage that all go to a point where ROb said Ok Thats enough. Additionally, I never saw so much grinding goin on in the freakin crowd it was like moe. was hosting my 8th grade graduation at Lupos haha rediculous. Any way highlights George, Kyles song, Buster>So long>Buster and the encore are all amazing versions with killer jams. Rob came out shaved head and wearing a Boston hat (I think he may have lost a bet that forced him to do that or somehting). I was clearly upset about this knowing full well they are from NY and having a deep hatred for Boston fans soo they assured me they have not forgotten that by closing with Reelin in the Years (they sound perfect on this song) and NYC Closer Gotta love it. All in all I had a blast no doubt about that, surprisingly good time at Lupos better than I expected. Enjoy. Thanks to tapers.
