This show has some truly amazing standouts. As everyone mentioned for gddd reason, the trumpet was badass. Straight up. The second set w those versions of Hi & Lo and Brent Black are beyond good. Soul-affirming. Face-melting. Just straight up blistering rock and roll.

Wow, I was referred to this show from a review of another moe. show. It sounded like it would be cool with the trumpet added to it, but I was sad to see it was only offered as a Shorten version and not VBR, which I usually download.
But after reading Bonarro Bob's comments (and since his advice has been good before) I went ahead and downloaded a Shorten converter for my mac and got this one.
What a fabulous show!!! The first set is is top notch moe., tight playing, in-key singing, and jammin' right out of the gate, really good stuff. The second set with Willy Waldman is off the hook! 75 minutes of ethereal, out of this world jazzy moe. Waldman seems to push the band to reach a little further, coaxing them into uncharted new territory. His other-worldly trumpet flourishes really add another dimension to this show.
The sound quality is very good. Thanks Andrew Rakow. And each set fits compactly on one CD each. Two juicy CD nuggets you'll play from beginning to end, not like some of the sprawling 4-5 disc moe. downloads I have where I tend to skip to my favorite songs.
Download this one as soon as you can. And don't let the Shorten-only thing scare you. Archive.org has links to converter programs that you can grab quickly and be on your way. Happy listening... :)

Set II with Willy Waldman is an amazing jazz + rock set, 78 minutes of continuous jamming that is off the hook. Drop the beer and call your friends this is a must have set! The first set rocks too, by the way, and the sound for the show is a good as it gets.
AND, my friend, when you download and hear this gem you must come back and update the rating. Vote for this show at setlist.com, and mention it in other reviews on archive.org. It's that good, trust me.

I personally love this show for a few reasons. First of all, the setlist is great.Second, the segways on the second disk are outstanding. I mean who doesnt like 70 minutes of nonstop moe. Third, Willy Waldman just adds to the madness. Not to mention the sound quality is definitly way above par.So I really suggest d/l this for your own good!!
