Notes
Notes:
I obtained these recordings in a mail trade in the fall of 1996. They were labeled SBD/3 when I got them. They were on Maxell-XLII analog tapes.
I searched around pretty hardcore for set I, and I don't have it. I am hoping that this transfer will serve as a "gap filler" until a better source turns up.
A few notes. E-Tree lists St. Augustine as the last song of set II, but I don't believe it was played. The tape of set II had filler of 4/19/96 on it, from
St. Augustine through Spine Of A Dog, and there was a clear cut between Moth, and St. Augustine, and I believe this is a passed down through time error, but could be wrong.
This wasn't around, or at least, is scarce, so I decided to share. Appreciate it for what it is, and hopefully a lower gen, complete source will turn up in the future.
It's very possible that I got this from Marcy Dunigan. She is mentioned at one point on the recording, hyping and selling posters. God bless her. She is amazing.
Here are the notes from the E-Tree entry:
Benefit for Soup Kitchen. * With "All the Day" (The Kinks) and "The Other One" (Grateful Dead) teases. ** With "Mexico and Pants teases. # With Chris from Jambay on Mandolin. After "Spine" there was a brief these of a well known rock
tune - after which Al pointed directly at Jesse0 and said "Don't write that down, that was not a 'tease'" - so, he didn't write it down.
Its up to *you* to get the tapes and figure it out. ;-)
