I personally recorded this show, and it's a straight audience recording, NOT a matrix!
Still, in 2015, my favorite moe. show ever.
The whole situation --- a perfect spring day, 3 sets of moe., a relaxed fraternity backyard, and OUT OF THIS WORLD playing and song selection all combined to make this the quintessential moe. show!
Anyone who considers themselves a moe. fan owes it to themselves to listen to this!!!

moe. played ADE for the first time in November 1994. It was the day after they played the Melody Bar in New Brunswick. I was the social chair and saw them and exchanged numbers with John Topper for them to hopefully play our house. John call the next morning and said their show in upstate New York had been cancelled and the band was available. I booked them without asking my fellow fraternity members. It was the beginning of a great friendship between moe. and ADE. I don't think that show in 1994 was taped, but they played our dining room, there were maybe 40 people therem and it was one of the best nights of my life. Thank you moe.

I am happy to say that I was the one who became friends wih moe. at this time period and brought them to the house to play. I was the social chair and lived in the house from 1993 to 1998. This was indeed the golden age of ADE and I'm sad to see the house in it's current state. Moe. are still great friends and I'm happy to see that while the house has not survived, the band has thrived.
Does anyone out there remember the fiasco of the farm benefit? Sadly, that was also my brain-child, not quite as well exectued as I had hoped! Oh well, it's all in the history books now.

I was a 4-year resident at ADE whilst moe was visiting our living room and backyard and putting on great shows on what seemed like a regular basis (I was there 92-96). Sometimes a hundred or more people would be at these shows. Sometimes less than 30 of us.
A little background on ADE: Not a traditional 'frat', but a huge house of guys and girls, about 30 of us in all, with a large permanent stone bar and foosball table in the basement and very little coherent memories.
In short, ADE: one of the greatest human-built structures in the world at the time - rivaling the pyramids of Egypt and any one of the Chuck E Cheese's.
I have a beautiful concert poster from this show done by Coulter Young, who did the moe. CD covers of the time. For all I know it's the only copy of the poster left. Here's a link to a pic I took of the poster..

I am thinking this is a matrix, not a pure aud as the presence is too great

Another solid 96 show. The highlight is the Good Guys >> Akimbo. The Good guys is the best version they have done with an extended guitar jam with Al playing the main riff and Chuck pulling Rob and Chris into Akimbo. An old school She Send Me is worth a listen (before the butchered it for No Doy). This show is a good representation of their 96 sound.
