Subject: Solid show...
Subject: Solid show...
I had only seen moe maybe 2-3 times before this show. It was a rainy Sunday in Nashville and this was the best crowd to show up for moe, the other Nashville shows had been at a much smaller venue. Overall its a really nice jammy show, a great time was had by allbut Im not sure how it compared to others in the same tour.
Highlights for the 1st set for me were Rise which develops so nice and slowly like they often do. The Wormwood into St. Augustine is stellar, nice mellow jams into a great song, St. Augustine clocks in at ~25 mins, but about the last 10 is just another great round of improvisation before landing into a solid Mexico.
Second set is just solid classic moe, I really love Jazz Wank and before this show Brent Black wasnt such the huge deal to me as most fans but they tear this one up. Decent recording - thanks to the taper, venue really doesnt have a great sound.
