Fantastic sound quality! This was a fantastic show as well - the second set had some hardcore jamming. This shows the amazing versatility of moe. They go from an almost rock-show first set (with jamming interspaced throughout) to a spacey, but still focused, second set. Definitely download this.

first of all, jon - once again great work! thanks much for it...
agreed with y'all - the jams are stepping it up - i heard new turns in several songs.... amazing how they can space it out (yeah, i agree this tour has been pretty spacey) yet keep the grooves as fresh n tight as ever. i'd recommend any browsers to grab this show!! the vibe was niiiiiiice. the boys are really having fun and it's us that are benefitting!

yo autogyroenthusiast i also thought that moe. has steped it up a bit with their jams... at the riveara in ny i was there and was sitting in the balcony where you could see EVERYTHING and thats where i noticed how much effort and skill both Jim and Vinny have and i also noticed that they have added a LOT MORE percussion into their jams and even some solo percussion as well..... i love the start off of the fall tour ..... CANT WAIT FOR MOE. DOWN 6

Another fun show at the Taft. Thanks for your efforts Jon, another great sounding recording. Highlights for me were hearing new songs, Brent Black, Akimbo, and the smooth > into NYC.
Question for more experienced moe. fans: Have their jams gotten spacier this year? This show was quite different jamming-wise than last years Taft show. They still did their share of breakneck rocking but I was surprised how psychedelic some songs got. The light show must have also been upgraded in the last year.

first of all....Jon Merin, you are a god. you are officially in my will. thank you so much for continually giving us such high quality moe. we ALL appreciate it more than words can express. now for the show.....hot. they have come out this tour blazing. totally on fire. as mentioned, the brent black is huge, as is the yodelittle - but what has blown me away more than anything in this show is the 32 things. at about 12 minutes it takes a left hand turn and breaks from the standard raging yokle jamming, and is just completely amazing. must be heard to understand - but definitely one of the finer moe. moments i can recall. really great. disembodied head is cute, but i doubt it will stand the test of time - just doesn't seem to have much room to move around or open up. maybe i'm wrong. rode is definitely pretty cool, and has great potential. i liked it a lot on first listen. overall, as i already said, the boys are sounding really, really tight and creative this time around. enjoy this gem.

I was at this show and I think they boys are absolutley on fire!!!!! Disembodied Head is a great poppy sounding tune and Rode/whatever its called the new Al tune is great. Not to mention a Brent Black that will leave you breathless. Oh yea and a CIA isn't to shabby either. McBain also gets pretty out there!!!! Just download this show now. Jon you do some awesome work man.
