Dickie Betts is old school, without the jazz conversational sensibility that you see in gen two rock (aka jam bands). Still, his "noodles" on Opium (even when playing over Rob's vocals) are signature Betts. In a word, Clarion.

moe. pays homage to a great. That's very cool.

i douwnloaded this show because of the setlist..too bad u cant hear the vocals due to the overtaking on guitar..the sound quality is not worth the time to download..its hard to find a moe show withgreat sound quality but i think i just did..radio sity music hall the next night.

Formerly known asIrving Plaza, delivers once again. What an awesome night. I was posted center in front of the tapers section (and thank you so much to all the tapes for their time and energy I truely appriciate it). Stranger and Runnaway were great starts really full of energy. Capt was nice to hear and boom! SOMP>SDB>TT and did they jus drop that, ya holy sh*t. SOMP has a sick breakdown jam..ya you know 1,2,3,4..SDB is jus always awesome to hear. Rob ripped some nice licks to intro TT. SET II Dicky Betts on stage Immediately, Op opener > Liz reed jus steals the night i mean look at that segue, so nice. St. Aug was standard but enjoyable, WDTTG nice way to ease the pace, Mexico solid jam lil dragged out and a tad sloppy w/ Dicky b ut moe. gave a great effort and really took the time to jam w/ dicky. Spaz>buster>Rx enough said. I feel terrible giving this show 4 but its jus not quite there st. aug, wdttg, mex are keeping that 5 jus outta reach. But def. hit up this show if not for the Op>liz alone, check the Seat sdb tt as well. New years in nyc and im in the exact same spot as I was las year, and damn happy about it.

Spaz > Buster > Spaz
I decided not to break it into separate tracks... but will leave out the dubious debate that surrounds when to track and not track segues.
