i've been going to moe. shows since '99, and this was the 2nd lamest show that i've seen.(it's tied with last years prov. show at lupos), anyone that would give this a 5 star was obviously spun out, or just has never seen moe. really put it down. there was no flow to it. even the big ones had no energy behind them. this year it has been hard for me to get to a lot of shows, and they dissappointed me in my home state.

Sounds like it did from the lawn - nice and clear.
Also the Ives Center has an 11pm curfew, so they were not playing any longer regardless.

I'm surprised with all the 5 stars on this one. I thought it was a good one, but not "warts and all material" by far. Second set picked the show up a bit, but mainly the venue itself is sick. I give that, along with the recording a 5 star, but the show itself gets a 4.

1st of all, great show. Thanks to Moe. for letting it rip. Opium was my fave for the evening.
2nd of all, props to AP for this amazing recording!!! Best audience recording I have heard in a long time. Sounds like 1st row!!! If you were not at this show you should at least download this one, super clean recording and Moe. at their guitar gymnastic best!

the show was amazing, the band was on fire, the venue was great, the crowd was great, and this is the best recording you can ask for. the music is recorded perfectly and sounds amazing and the crowd is loud and its presence is heard throughout the whole show, this is exactly how the show sounded to a member of the aduience, this recording is perfectly balanced with sound quality crowd energy. DOWNLOAD ( dare to say this is warts and all material with a little tinkering???)

The show was great. The second set sounded amazing. The best part was the encore funk and the swimmers with the lights. One thing everyone should know about this venue is they kick you out Early. Big Summer Classic, an all day festival started playing there Encore before 10pm. This was my fifth show at Ives Concert Park and this was the latest I have heard any band play. Remember this is a State College and it is run by the State, not a private vendor. I heard no Boo's when my friend jumped in the water. Get over it and Enjoy the music. Show sounds great a must download.

While this is a good moe. show, the recording is excellent. It's worth the D/L just because the sound is so good here. Also, this is a beautiful venue and I hope the naked idiot who went for a dip in the moat during the encore has not spoiled that band's chances of returning when they (hopefully) return to the road next year. BTW, the water was disgusting -- what was that guy thinking?

moe was on last night, especially during the mexico intro, george and i very much enjoyed chucks slide work in opium.i hope he is proud of his work. and to whoever went swimmming and splashed the stage, why didnt you listen to rob? he said "do not swim in the lake". i dont know about you but if moe. asked me to do something, i would listen to them. i wonder if they would have played later if the whole thing didnt happen......

This was an awesome show. Highlights in my opinion were Waiting for the Punchline, Lazarus, and Opium. The whole second set in general was amazing. Encore was decent, but would have been much better if those people didn't jump in pond. moe. would have played more songs if they hadn't jumped in. I thought it was pretty disrespectful when they started splashing water on the stage, the band has thousands of dollars of gear, and these "fans" cut the show short, and pissed off the band/venue. So besides that one hitch the show was great, as for the recording itself, it sounds like good quality so far, thanks for the speedy upload.

I just saw this show a few hours ago and lo and behold, it is here for our enjoyment! moe. has the best tapers on the planet. I'm gonna enjoy hearing this again. Especially the George and the Opium > Hi and Lo > Mexico. The swamp swimmer was great to watch and it made for a memorable encore, it's just a shame that the band will probably not be invited back to such a beautiful venue, but in all fairness, the venue should have had some kind of fence or railing up in front of the water. The recording sounds great so far. Outstanding work.
