Notes
moe. moe. moe.
a friend asked me, "who do those guys think they are, i mean they are good and all, but playing 2 hours as an opening act?"
there were a lot of explanations, but all i said was, "moe."
thanks to the band for coming (near) my home town
thanks to steve for his usual great work
nice to see jason -- thanks for the setlist
glad to see micheal and craig up from gainesville, al and janis and tom and clair (ok, i didn't see clair, but where there's tom, there's clair), caroln, chad, alan (i think, i keep forgetting your name, but we mean business - we will burn that moeslims shirt at the down this year), paul, my mom and nancy (who is a moe.virgin no moe.), and, of course all the wharf rats/happy hour heros, including pete and too many more to mention.
this was my first time out of the box with the new oade modded r-44 (thanks, doug), so anyway...enjoy!

Subject: Jams for the Old City
I brought my 12-year-old brother to this, his first show. Afterword, he described it as one of the best nights of his life. We were exhausted and deaf from dancing in the pit, but now that it's over we both miss it. Such is the power of good music - it defies age and leaves us with something greater than ourselves.
This recording is pretty rough, but it gives a good sense of how into it the crowd was that afternoon, which is worth it.
Subject: A really fun show
