Notes
Notes:
-Levels being sorted out at the beginning of "The Wheel" and "High Class." Some
music is missing at the beginning of both tracks.
-Some of Edie's banter after "Plain Jane" is cut due to a tape flip. A few notes
of "Jamaican Lady" are cut because of this flip.
-Some hot SBD levels sporadically throughout the tape. This was a problem we were constantly fighting during this period (LBP)

Subject: Another October 87 Gem
I agree with RFMANDO - the end from Uncle on really rocks - The "Metro Rap" has a lot of energy going into "Fool in the Rain" and that's a wonderful version as well. "What the Hell" is sweet with "Uh-OH" > "Space" All fun stuff. Improv following is great - "The Cave" is what I'd call it - awesome. Finish it off with "Air" awesome finish.
Enjoy this one! I know you will!
Subject: Primal Bohemians!!!
It's here... THANK YOU!!!
The hidden gem within a final month of awesome shows. And certainly one of the "must haves" of any collection. Overall the show itself is a winner, with a strong varied set and good playing...if I could only have one 87 show in my collection I'd actually keep this one....great Don't Sweat It, Gave Up On You and Jamaican Lady as well as a punchy High Class, good old style Now etc. The "energy" is there folks.
But what sets this above the pack is is the final 50 minutes or so of the show ...a usual raucous Uncle for the time followed by a great Fool in the Rain, the rare "What the Hell is Goin' On" and when they kick into Uh-Oh the band finds the "magic" on this one. The Uh-Oh> The Cave Improv> Just Because Improv!!!!!!!!!! Is surely an Edie freak out for the ages!! THIS is one of those Edie moments that has brought much joy - a moment where the band and her were ON and this is followed by likely my all time favorite "Air of December" encore. KILLER!!!! Here is the New Bohemians at a "high" point. The first part of the show makes a nice listen when driving around on a sunny afternoon. The latter part is quintessential dim the lights kick back the easy chair and .....ZING! (Where did I put that...never mind I don't do that anymore)..Enjoy!
