Cyber Writing

The internet spawned a new generation of writers who wrote about the Net and on the Net. This program features several well-known cyber writers including Brendan Kehoe, author of "Zen and the Art of the Internet". Also "St. Jude", author of "The Cyberpunk Fake Book", a guide to all things cyber. Another cyber writer named "R.U. Sirius", founder of Mondo 2000, talks about cyberpunk fiction and the techno culture. Also David Pescowitz introduces his new web zine, "Boing Boing", a journal of cyber doings. Shot on location at the CyberSmith internet cafe in Palo Alto, California. Hosts are Jane Wither, Andrew deVries, and Stewart Cheifet. Originally broadcast in 1996.
