Subject: Getting the full documentary
I lived in the Farm around 2005 and stumbled across this clip while trying to learn more about it. After a fair bit of legwork I was able to acquire the full documentary by contacting one of the makers directly. Since he posted his email in a public posting for a showing at the Roxie, I'll presume it's okay to repost his address here:

He was willing to make me a VHS copy of the documentary, though it seems like he must have to make them one at a time... Oh, and as for whether it's any good or not, definitely so -- not only is it the best if not only video resource that details the rise and fall of The Farm, but it's fairly well edited (for being 15+ years old) and a good watch overall.

Subject: Just a trailer?
The trailer seems useless without a link to the fuller work. We don't even see what the farm eventually looked like.

Subject: not enough
This clip shows nothing of the farm- just the spot where it was made, and some shots of heavy equipment tearing up asphalt

Subject: Not A New Thing To Me
It was not uncommon for some of the people in the town that I grew up in to have empty city lots as small farms. I question though that using city lots that have had mfg. on them to be used for growing food. What I would like to know is what the EPA report of any toxic substances was found. I would hope that anything grown on land like that would have to be labled as such for those who care about where their food was grown....

Subject: how do i find this film?
the trailer was enough to peak my interest. I have heard about this film and another film titled "Farmcore" also by Mike Kavanaugh. I have yet to find a full length copy of either one.

My Grand Father is a farmer, and I think he would say that we need more of them, and less bling bling.
