Subject: Enjoyable Old Film
I enjoyed it. The oration of Abraham Lincoln was perhaps a bit solemn, but the idea that people were talking about what was said at that time was a great thought.

Subject: His truth is marching onnnnnnnnnn (in repeats)...
First off the audio to this movie is wonky, but it sort of straightens itself out. Sorta.
Anyways, a day or so after the Gettysburg address, a bunch of town folk get together and surprisingly start dissing Lincoln and his speech. "For score and twenty years ago! Ha ha ha!" One of them however has a different opinion and reads from a Chicago Tribune article that tells of the speech, which we then see AGAIN, for the upteenth time, Bela Lugosi (not really) in Abe Lincoln drag giving us the Gettysburg speech. I don't know how many times I've seen this in different films. I guess old Jameson liked it though.

Subject: president lincoln
It is the day after Abe had delivered his immortal Gettysburg Address. The scene is a small country store ..A newspaper has arrived with an account of yesterday,s speech by the president..The men in the store discuss the speech and present various opinions...It is a sincere short film .
