Subject: New Riders Ride Again
This is a very good show - maybe not everything a Fillmore show was in the early 70's but if this was the first time you heard this band and these songs here in 2006, I think a lot of people would be impressed. The recording quality is excellent, the playing is totally New Riders and the vocals are good (the vocals are the only slightly weak link but I still give it a 5 star) - this could easily qualify for a livedownloads.com selection for $10-$15 bucks so, here it is for FREE! Support the band when they come to town!

Subject: Heaven on Earth!
When the weather turns warm I turn to the New Riders, so this show is heaven. First of all it's a soundboard, so the sound is impeccable. The band is having fun, and despite the short, tight arrangements there are several moments where someone calls for one more solo before they wrap it up. Buddy Cage has not lost a step, and maybe even improved with age if possible. The "Dirty Business" is 16 minutes long(!) and arguably the best version ever, with a real nasty opening. You simply can't go wrong with this one, and the fact that this show came a week after the Zero reunion at Cervantes makes this show and the Zero shows a real time capsule of musical perfection.
Jason's original FLAC files were renamed to comply with etree standards and a new .md5 was created.
