Erick D'Orion - The Sunny Blount Project [nt085] (December 14, 2001)

With The Sunny Blount Project, recorded live on December 14, 2001, Érick D'Orion (from the duo morceaux_de_machines) delivers electronic compositions based uniquely on samples from the music of Sun Ra (born Herman Poole "Sunny" Blount). Since his beginnings within the Napalm Jazz collective, D'Orion was always inspired by the inventive and manful music of Sun Ra and the 7 tracks present multiple interpretations of the Sun Ra "sound", touching on other afro-futuristic references.
