Upon knowing that this is a drum and bass album, I was expecting something with really fast beats, minimal melody line and extremely groovy. This album is not like those, the speed (BPM) is relatively slow as compared to most drum and bass songs, with pretty rich melody line and pads, yet still being rather groovy.

Despite being labelled as a drum and bass album, Snap-on Grooves is in fact quite easy to listen to. I wouldâve call it more of an electronica cum breakbeat album. Give it a try, youâll get what I mean.

Favourite tracks:
Third Floor Parking Lot
Nice slow opening track with very nice background melody and atmospheric drum beats. Perfect track to get you in the mood for the rest of the album.

Stoopid Dreemer Nightmare
Nice beats and good use of samples and reminds you that you are in fact listening to a drum and bass album. Rather short track though.

Beatrice Hard Sample Crap
Despite the name, this track is no crap. Atmospheric drum and bass with some pads. Definitely one of the most outstanding tracks in the album.

Subject: Cool
Sounds like a big bunch of influences bound together in a really cool way. Good use of samples, nice machine work. Like it.

Subject: flow like air through different environments
nice beats, variety of moods, all flows in that special way leading us through thoughts and patterns opened by sound waves. very tronical in its expression. good listening.
