Germany's Siegmar Fricke has been active in the electronic scene since the 80's. Along the road he has been responsible for projects such as Efficient Refineries (together with Miguel A. Ruiz) and several collaborations with Italian sound artists Maurizio Bianchi and Giancarlo Toniutti. His latest work, "Neuromecanismo", contains hypnotising and microscopic operations which could metaphorically describe the subtle intricacies of organic/biological activity on a cellular level. Not only does Siegmar demonstrate a high degree of control over the atmosphere's crystal clear sound character, but he also succeeds in sustaining a compelling modulated rhythm.
