It was Thomas Park who suggested us to start a net label. After some consideration (well, hardly any), we decided to go through with it! So it was only fitting that Mystified would provide the first release on Okkulth. And fortunately, there was no hesitation! So we present you a truly enthralling collection of tracks here!
”Spinning Decline is an eclectic mix of pieces, mostly drone in nature. Moods tend to be dark and melancholy here. Several pieces closely mimic the sound of old vinyl spinning on the turntable. Others vibrate with deep bassy resonance. Ambient noise is also represented in the release, though pieces tend to be more melodic than noisey.”

The intention of Okkulth release is that they are dubbed onto a cassette. These songs will fit onto one side of a C90 tape. It is recommended that you use the PDF file to print the artwork. In the unlikely event that you want to burn a CDR, you can use either the low-resolution thumbnail file or freely alter the artwork provided in the BMP image.

Subject: Spellbinding!
A solid and cohesive set of drones that combine cavernous and spacious atmospheres with appropriately dark, beautiful melodies. Pasta Western, a descent into swirling shadows and dimness, conveys deep mystery and foreboding, minus the sense of dread that has become too common in the Dark Ambient genre. Highly recommended!
