Subject: Concern for Americans getting murdered needs to start at home
I don't like to repeat myself. So for my take on rants on Robeson go here:

Subject: Paul Robeson
An interesting look at Robeson and his life as a Communist. Though it is stated that Robeson couldn't have known of the purges and mass murders under Stalin people who had escaped Russia knew and talked. They were labelled "anti- Communist". Robeson raised money for a campaign to send thousands of people to the Soviet Union "in solidarity" and one morning Stalin they should all be sent to the gulags.
Most were executed, others were worked to death. Their loved ones appealed to George Benard Shaw and Robeson to find out what had happened to them. They wrote letters to Stalin, none were answered. But they didn't ask any other questions either. They may not have known about the show trials, forced famine and mass executions, but they knew their comrades were missing. That is one massacre the Communists of the era can't say they didn't know about it.
