this project began as a self portrait and continues to shape the features of my web portal, navigammatron.org. It has developed into a paradoxical statement about the new technology of art, the economy of the art establishment and the power structure that underlies the production and distribution of artistic works. original_copy was broadcast on CBC ZeD March 31, 2005 and also won best sound at the 2005 University of Victoria Student Film Festival.
