Subject: This place is gettin' hot
Went to this show with a couple friends of mine. Absolutely -loved- the first set and I could've left a happy man after hearing "Althea", the song that got me into the Dead.

And I almost left before it was even played!

Just before Phil and the gang came out on stage, I started to break out in hives from all the heat! Had to have been over a hundred degrees out there, not to mention we were all sweltering down in the seats with the sun staring us in the face, not quite below the horizon yet. It got so bad I almost cut out just after they started, but toughed it out through the first set and left feeling like I was about to pass out.

'course soon as I heard the second set start from outside the gate, I was wishing I was back in there!

Subject: A fine memory
I was at this show...damn, it was hot!

Performance: Saw Phil once before, at Sandstone back in '01. In spite of Warren Haynes not being there, this is the better show of the two. Joan Osborne is a delight to listen to. Wonderful setlist; a good groove through "Unbroken Chain" and "Terrapin".

Recording: Everybody's recordings should sound this good. One of the best audience tapes I have ever heard.

I dig this show out during the winter, and it warms me right up.

This one's a keeper, folks.

Subject: Wow
Joan's voice is really starting to impress me. In this case, I give her an A+! I think that this is the best Caution I have heard! Great work Joan! I love the I Am The Walrus , too. Great show , great sound . I can't complain.

I rate this one high, 5 stars! :]

Subject: lame friends
listening reminded me of how lame this show was.
Worst Friends I've seen yet. No Guitar!

Pigpen is rolling over in his grave after hearing caution.

Subject: Wow I'm Glad I Dled this!
I downloaded this on the 23rd of July, and can't stop listening. The recording is not as good as the free Bethel SBD, but I think it's a better show. I do like the recording a lot though. It lacks some bass, but has more percussion and is clearer than the other version of this show.

This is the best I've heard of these guys (minus the big names) to date. When Joan sings "this place is getting hot!" on Althea you can jsut feel the heat!

I really dig the setlist. A lot of sixties and sixties type stuff to chew on. Unbroken Chain has that feel to it, then throw in: a very nice Viola>Caution, The Weight, Sittin' on top of the World, New Speedway Boogie, I am the Walrus, Peaceful Valley, and Midnight Hour, and this could've been the boys playing the Fillmore with Joan!

Subject: Althea!
This version of Althea is smokin, and IMO shows how tight this band has become. Wasnt at this show but sound is good, nice mix of tunes on the setlist as well...4 stars
