pampers diapers
Aw, Man these are the classic plastic back vintage diapers that crinkle. I do remember these well, and miss the vintage plastic backs. What really opens your eyes, is that sometimes if you watch a movie in the 70's-80's, and a scene is shown in a grocery store, toy store, someplace that sold diapers. Knowing that the old kind was widely available and very easy to get back then was just amazing. And They felt good too, and at least with the crinkling sound, you always knew where your baby was, and not worry about him crawling out of your sight.

This isn't early 80s...
Based on the style of ad, this is probably mid 70s. Also based on the hair and clothes... I was around back then, and I remember.
Also, I believe pampers started being sold in a plastic bag (like now) in the early 80s, and this one was in a box.

wheeee!
i remember commercials like this one. love using the baby butts as a blotter. wonder if the blotter effect works on stuff like ink or wet paint. and yes, the kid in the commercial has that totally disbelieving grimace on her face...or maybe she was going #2

You tell âÂÂem Susan!
Pretty standard 70âÂÂs Pampers commercial here. You know, the split screen diaper wetness test, the Quilted being sewn on. All great, Love the reaction the baby gives in her 2nd scene, like, what the hell am I doing in this commercial? Hard to believe the kid is probably 30 now. Wow.
