Notes

"A few words about the recording:
Pseudo-religious huff from total memory loss. Consecrated formless shifts and complete disorientation. Keys through analog murk, voice/guitar and caressed tape. Don't remember much of the recording, just kneeling up to the board and then this..." -Kolumkilli, October 2006

This release consists of three long tracks by Kolumkilli, a Canadian producer who has been unknown to me so far. All three tracks are rather deep, wafting, and droning (yes, I use this word quite often as a description but it fits perfectly here) pieces of Ambient perfection.

Maybe this sounds ludicrous to some of you but the tracks remind me of church music with an organ played on an abandoned fabric floor, tubes all around, reverb and sometimes tinny. Great release.

I am not a dark ambient fan at all. I never understood why people liked this sort of thing. But this is some pretty significant stuff here. Echoes, overtones, some faint melody. "The Evening Earth Part 2" is the piece that grabbed my attention.
