ahhh, the Living room. I remember this show. Dobson, the FOH engineer, was dealing with a intermittently shorted SBD. The house mix was completely distorted and had to be shut off, but the bands in ear monitors were working fine. The band had no idea that nobody could hear their vocals. That's why you cant hear any vocals in the recording.

Another great Breakfast show with Help/Slipknot, a great Drunk Monk and a wicked Buquebus. There are a number of B'fast shows with less than clear vocals, but they are often still worthy of the download. I have downloaded nearly 150 B'fast shows and have only found about 10% of them that were barely listenable and most of the shows just need a little EQ. I would say about 70% or more have outstanding sound source that may only need to boost the mid, drop out some of the high-end and a handful that could use a bass boost. The SBD matrix sources in 2001-2003 have some of the best sound right out of the box. But even the aud mic'd shows through the present can be quite good. Their entourage that tours with them to tape are REALLY good at it.

Great show, but muddy vocals. The band even mentions that fact...

The instrumentals were really nice as usual, but the vocals didn't come out very well at all. Luckily there aren't very meny of them. There are so many other Breakfast shows uploaded by chrisfitzpatrick that sound better. He normally turns out some really clean stuff. I respectfully disagree with the other reviewer. There are better Breakfast shows to get over this one. They DID jam though!

This show is 1 long set instead of 2, but it freakin rocks! If you're a hardcore Egghead, or just new to the breakfast, you should download this right away. What the funk and taboo or not taboot were a great way to start off the show. Following that i also enjoyed a sweet help>slip (gd cover). Also, a great jam on Buquebus. Overall, dont have second thoughts about getting this show. I have the vbr mp3 version and it sounds great. Peace...
