Lotsa Dead cover bands out there but this rises above the normal fodder, lead guitarist has very authentic Garcia sound and other guitarist sings like Bob Weir's twin brother. Nicely played, good recording. If you don't like the Dead you won't dig it, duh!

Subject: Playin' Dead Rocks with Style
This band is a worthy tribute to the Dead and the recording of this particular show reflects
their talents well. I saw them play last month at a venue west of Boston and had a great time boogyin' to Sampson & Deliah and bopin' to Bertha
This was the first show with Playin' Dead's current lineup. St. Stephen and Samson and Delilah are missing from the second set due to recording problems. The encore, US Blues, is also absent.
