Subject: Thank goodness this recording surfaced!
The sound on this one is spot on! The venue was cozy and intimate nad the recoding helps convey that feeling.
You know you're in for a great night when PG opens up with Sundog! Then that Teakwood (my 1st one) grabs your soul and drags it under and as hard as you try and fight back the darkness that is Teakwood just simply takes over. Keeping with the darkness theme the boys go into Diggin in the Dirt (Peter Gabriel) this is one of my favorite covers and tehy did an awesome job aswell. Love it when Brock yells "this for reaaaaaaaaaaaal" Oh wow that set was sweet awesome this was great BAM ... Robot Waltz. If you arent familiar with Robot Waltz it is straight up dance party USA!
Set 2: 3 weeks was ripping! Brock looked like a tornado on the lap steel! Speed Queen was raging and the highlight for this guy started with Get Down Tonight ... started off intense ... jamed out spacey style ... drop right back into it! Needless to say I got down that night! Then Breeze and the Mr. Tansistor ... coined that night as the song that never ends! Wow that was a lot of ! I had ... I need better punctuation! hahaha
