Subject: Athens Was the Place
The 3rd set of this show was basically my dream set..not even including the SpeedQueen>Countdown>Kiss>Speed Queen which Kiss got so dirty and funky to a point that I couldnt believe what I was dancing to. But hearing the first notes of Macumba after Speed Queen couldnt have did it any better for me

Macumba is special..any pgroove fan knows it...I knew thats when it was going to blow up. Well a Full out Beastie Boys Rhymin and Stealin BLEW IT UP....Brock just shows so much energy during this its great.

Now Space Paranoids to me at this point had sentimental value..It was my first Pgroove song live and I hadnt heard it since my first show...so hearing the first notes of this made the start of my 2006 that much better now AIM>Probably the jam higlight of the night TeakWood>AIM..I cant describe in words..the fun I was having during this.

It couldnt get any better at this point..but it did..

Breeze is probably my favorite Pgroove song...this version is all out, crazy tension and release type stuff..that was it for me I couldnt have been happier than after that..but Helter Skelter..let me tell ya..Brock told me after the show.."Id been waiting to play that song all funkin week" and it showed!

Subject: Wow
This is a must get for anyone interested in seeing what Perpetual Groove is all about. The 3 night run was incredible in Athens. As mentioned earlier the Speed Queen>Kiss>Speed Queen is incredible. Not to mention all the other gems in this show. If your thinking of trying out Pgroove, this is the place to start. Great recording Joel!! Thanks.

Not only did the band blow me away on NYE, they gave all they had for 3 straight nights. Check out the Speed Queen>NYE Countdown>Kiss>Speed Queen for some really interesting stuff. Also listen to the new tune Only Always. That is going to quickly become another show stopper. Perpetual Groove at their finest here.

Subject: Fantastic New Year
Great show from start to finish, bookmarked by two killer covers and highlighted by an incredible diggin in the dirt and a fitting kiss to enter in the new year. Other highlights are the new brock tune only always, an expanded so much for goodbye, and then a third set that wouldnt quit. Good times at the GA theatre- thanks Joel for all the hard work...

Subject: 3 NIGHT RUN WAS AWESOME
These were my first P-Groove shows and I got lucky enough to catch these 3 nights of raging shows. The recording is excellent quality so props to the taper thanks for all the work you guys do it is DEFINETLY appreciated!

The Georgia Theatre is a great venue - definetly much more relaxed than the ones I normally see shows at in Virginia.
