University of Vermont Agricultural Experiment StationUsing the One-Man Pick-Up Baler

This film was produced by the University of Vermont Agricultural Experiment Station in the 1940's as part of a study of different hay harvesting techniques. This film and two others, The Buck Rake, Wind Stackers, and Field Chopper in use and Hand Methods of Harvesting Hay, were preserved in 2008 thanks to a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
