Notes
Once downloaded, the 31 tracks (ideally) should be burned onto CD (or transferred onto minidisc or stereo videotape) as one continuous piece of music (with no gaps between tracks) - the original title of the album was meant to be "Experiments in Functional Background Music" - this was a phrase taken from the excellent surrealistic book "Trout Fishing in America" by the late author Richard Brautigan - "Rockminster Abbey" is intended (basically) to be used as background music for cleaning-up around the house or washing the car. As this is being written, The Plumstead Common are collaborating with several lyricists, in the hope of putting out a version of "Rockminster Abbey" with actual words scattered inside the shell of the music. Amen.
