pkVarious Artists - 30 Days (January 10, 2006)

try new player!embedding and help

This album was created in thirty days by thirty different artists, in a sort of chain-collaboration where one finished at midnight and passed it on to the next to continue the set. With all the different time zones and last minute scheduling issues the project was quite the challenge, and I think that added to the feel of it, these musicians pulled off quite the feat as it turned out quite listenable.

30 Days is free to download, under a Creative Commons license. Click here for more information. Please share the project as a whole so others can listen to it in context. Enjoy.

Subject: Really great

From my point of view, this time is not essential that most of the music is not handmade. The mixture is the key and the variety of stiles.

You start with a really freaky first track and then travel through landscapes each different and unique.

Even if one is just loving "handmade music", check this out, put out your headphones and just enjoy/have fun/do whatever you like.

Subject: Variety - in a rubbery synth way

There is a fair amount of variety here; with a little bit of excitement, tension, release. I don't think any live musicians were harmed here.

Subject: Please read this

Hi there, where ever you are. My english isn't taht good so please stay pleasant. This recording seemed to me as one of the friendliest hearing for a long time. Not the everywhere stylied we want to make some noise production, but the the one where people have to perform something a little different than it used to be. I love it (not all off it but great parts). 'Thanks to peppermill and everyone supporting the archive. Hope for more soon. Thank you and everyone involving in this project. Greetings from Germany and my daughter.
