(version francaise; taper le mot clé "prevaids")"Tonn" speaks about the death of a orphan kid in a hospice for terminal HIV patients in Thailand. Images are "rude". This movie realized by the doctor of that hospice, is a way to pay homage to the kid ... At the end the movie become a very crude irony on male gender : during the last minutes, the camera is exploring the death body of Tonn when, at the same time, auditoire can hear the arguments prononced by a "fake man" to refuse a condom that his girlfriend ask him to wear...
"Tonn" is definitively a "second line" prevention tool. The movie tackle some of the mains causes of contamination in countries who already received first line campaigns (condom, abstinence, safe sex, etc). "Tonn" tackle the problem of conjugal contamination, and the vanity of arguments used by men to refuse condoms... After seing this movie, it could be difficult to refuse to wear a condom!(about difference between first and second line prevention, see theory in www.prevaids.org)
