Subject: Pride of the Bowery
This is probably the best of the Dead End Kids movies. Unfortunately, the sound and picture are out of sinc, but it's worth watching anyway.

I surely wish they would bring back the CCC today. It would be wonderful for the economy and for all the young men who need help in gaining skills for work and confidence.

It was the young men of the CCC that were ready for service in WWII when it began. Most were either drafted or volunteered. It taught so many character-building skills and got all of the men in such great shape that boot camp was not even necessary (they had been living in a military based system).

This is a movie I think everyone should see.
