Notes
This is not the usual rough-mix sbd recording, but obviously a professionally mixed, ready-for-release-or-broadcast multitrack recording. In addition, it's a superb show of over 2 1/2 hours!
If you don't have it, get it now! This show is a must!

Well this is most definitly a live 2track broadcast mix. I know for sure for i had the pleasure of mixing it. Mixed on a analog sony desk in the NOB studio inside the Paradiso building, for Fabchannel.
It was Ryans first Amsterdam gig, so he and the band visited the famous Amsterdam coffee shops, after the soundcheck…….
It resulted in this verg nice recording!! Ryan would not leave the stage!!!

The performances are all very strong, some songs are done a bit differently than usually, which I like, quite a few covers. If I wouldn't have known it was Ryan Adams singing I'd have thought I was listening to Mick Jagger on "Brown Sugar". But what's with the two aborted songs at the end? Or is that a glitch in the recording?

Great show. The sound quality is excellent. It's a marathon of a show too. This is the first live show I heard of Ryan Adams and it's still one of my favorites, probably my favorite non cardinals show any way.

It would be great to get a mp3-version of this concert. I heard/recorded some songs of it on the radio, and I love it a lot.

What a show!
Great sound, great setlist and a lot of energy!
The band smokes and the Ryan's solo numbers are very very intense.
One of the best show I've ever downloaded fron the Archive!

I guess this is more forum oriented but I'm dying for this show and it won't unstuff (I've tried several times) and it won't unshorten if I do it track by track (some sort of note saying a head chunk or something can't be found)......I'm dying to have this anyway a hi fi version can be put up as well as in the past as a last resort I've tried those and they always work.......thanks sorry for the non review but in my mind I'm sure it's pure 5

Being a "FOH" guy and having seen the back room broadcast studio at the Paradiso, I would have to say that yes-most definately-this is a nice multi-track mix for broadcast. You can hear the broadcast engineer turn down the audience mic at the beginning of "Call Me On Your Way Back Home". Usually the venue also records a pro-shot video as well, so this should be out there somewhere. Anyone?.... Great show of great quality in a great city

Subject: Wow! Another smoking Ryan show!
This is one of my favorite Ryan Adams shows. I'm generally like his solo acoustic stuff much more than his 'newer' rock-type stuff, but some of the electric stuff on this show smokes. The entire first disc is ridiculously good, and the acoustic Lovesick Blues, Las Vegas, Sin City and Caroline on disc 2 top it off.

Please Note: Although the sound quality of this 3CD live recording IS very good, it is most certainly NOT a professional job - perhaps multiple wireless mics, but not through a desk of any sort. Still, definitely worth having.
