Ryan Adam's Stand-up

*Tribute to Waffle House: "What's the deal with people who want to eat food?"

*EXCLUSIVE INSIDER FACTOID (is factoid still a word?): Ryan Adams reveals that he likes playing "Please do not let me go."

*"The End": One of his best rants about eggs, somewhat philosophical.

*"Games": Ryan regulates when someone at the Ryman acts like someone you expect at the Ryman.

*UNCLE GEOGRAPHY LUNATIC:
Dedicates "Oh My Sweet Carolina" to his brother and his brother's new born daughter on the basis that the show's in Nashville, which is in Tennessee, who happens to be a brother to his sister Carolina.

He made a similar dedication a couple nights before in Atlanta, but DID NOT explain how Georgia, let alone Kentucky, falls into this family.

This dedication essentially amounts to Adams offering his sister to his brother as a congratulatory present. Twisted, it's a mind blower.

*"Wish you were here" with or without drugs.

*Advocates vaporizer use.

Musically the show is good enough to overlook the couple glitches on this recording. The song selection's intriguing and there are several stand out performances, especially the jamming; and if I was an opera snob I'd describe his vocals as "euphonious."
