Dorothy FadimanRADIANCE: An Experience of Light (1978)

embedding and help

Through religion, philosophy, psychology, art, and architecture, RADIANCE presents light as a universal symbol of life. Subject: Female Spiritual Perspective

Speaks of emotional (non objective) experiences in spiritual terms. Makes reference to "The Mother". Suggests, paradoxically, that death is a necessary part of life. Beautiful but mostly lacking in pragmatic value. Balanced somewhat by references to Buddhism, Christianity, and physical (real world) examples. A pleasant, but temporary, escape from reality.
