Subject: Tipitina's Birthday Party - 1980
Great Show! This is a great show by historical value and as great music listening. This show rocks and the sound is great. Check out the unusual intro to No. Two Pencil. This show is great from beginning to end. Put it on and just groove to the tunes. We need more of these older shows available on the archive.

Subject: The boys in their prime
The raw energy this band displayed at this time still makes it my favorite period for the Radiators. I first saw them in August of 1978 as an incoming Tulane freshman and was "hooked" immediately. I wish there were more tapes from 78 to 82 available.
Thanks to everyone involved for upping this one.

Subject: the ancient furnace
Listen to the interplay among the guys emerge here. They were already building on their foundation. The sound quality is fine - you can hear every note, though there is a hiss here and a pop there. And there's no fitting the show on just two 80-minute CDs.
