Martin DotMartin Dot - Metro [rain013]

This album starts the series of five best works by Martin Dot. Chosen not chronologically, but intentionally as the first one Metro presents the idea of encapsulating time into repetitive events, like between one arrival of a train and the next one. Such repeated event is a constant. But it's also variable, as there is no possibility of such two identical events.
That's what this album tries to show. Constant variability or variable constance.
We hope you'll enjoy it as we do.

Subject: Good urban ambience
Good hums, vibrations, and subway-station rumblings to keep you focused while you do paperwork or computer work.

I recently listened to the whole thing straight though while at work today. There is a really pretty hum that develops in the later tracks---this is a great soundscape and you should definitely download it if you like to listen to these while reading or working.
