Subject: This is great !!
Thanks so much for this set. Too cool.
I'm in Australia so I obviously never got a chance to see the band but this almost fills that gap. I have a weekly radio show and The Rainmakers ALWAYS get played.
Thanks again and thanks for all the work you've put into this and the other shows.
Keep 'em coming !!

Cheers

Subject: Finally!!! SB&R
Its so cool to finally here the expanded version of this. I've had the 2 cd version for YEARS!!!!

Thanks so much for putting this up. Just got it downloaded and I'm 3 songs into it.

This recording is really one of the best. Great Rainmakers material and very cool (if occasionally goofy) covers.

This is a MUST HAVE for any Bob Walkenhorst/Rainmakers fan!!!

Subject: Steve, Bob & Rich at Jose's, Fayetteville AR
The show is an early incarnation of THE RAINMAKERS with three-fourths of the members in place (Pat Tomek would join in December 1985). They performed under the name STEVE, BOB & RICH from 1983 until mid-1986 at which time they changed the name of the band. This upload is listed under RAINMAKERS (and the files named as such) to comply with Live Music Archive's naming policies and is included in the permission granted by Bob Walkenhorst for archiving RAINMAKERS recordings.

Enjoy the show!

ADDENDUM TO THE TEXT FILE:
One of the most important decisions I had to make in this remaster was what to do about the missing music due to tape flips. The partial songs are the end of "Rocket Man", the beginning of "Let My People Go-Go", all but the first few seconds of "Roll On", the beginning of "Information", and most of the unknown encore song (which I've called "Let's Have A Party" here because of Bob's yelling...). My original plan was to try and patch the missing music with that from the same songs performed at other SB&R shows. However, because of my impending move I'd already put all of these other shows into storage. I did think of cross-fading the partial songs into each other or fading to silence and then fading back up on the subsequent song. In the end, I simply removed the silence at the end and beginning of the partials; the transitions are, thus, somewhat abrupt but remain pure to the original recording without losing any more music.
