My step-sons constantly accuse me of being "obsessed" with Bob Walkenhorst/the Rainmakers. Even I had to wonder, "do I really *need* another recording?" Then I started listening to this one. I've only had time to listen to the first 6 tracks or so but it is just awesome!
This recording of Hoo Dee Hoo had me smiling and laughing out loud and Bob's vocals on the ballads are breathtaking.
I am really glad I took the time (and, well, got the assistance necessary) to figure out the SHN format. I wish I could have been at this show but I think this recording is almost as good as that would have been.

Subject: Previously "Hidden" Soundboard Finally Surfaces
The first "new" Rainmakers show to surface since 1999, this previously "hidden" soundboard features a typically energetic Norwegian show by Kansas City's Rainmakers. Sound quality is excellent througout, with excellent instrument definition and clarity. Aside from some slight speed and volume fluctuations at the beginning of "Width Of A Line" (tape warp that couldn't be repaired in the analog>digital transfer), the source tape was in excellent condition. It's one of the best-sounding of the Rainmakers board tapes out there.
Definitely an excellent addition to the small catalogue of recordings by Kansas City's "biggest band."
