Subject: Fun night!

I really enjoyed this show. We had 4th row and had a blast. The seating section was basically where the real fans were, which was pretty small and outside the seating section is where people for the rib cook-off can stand for free. The sound was really good, I just wish this recording showed it. The sound of this recording is good, but I hope to find something much more clear sounding.
Thanks alot for making this show available. Now I can relive this fun night. The setlist isn't that bad either. They had to throw in a few Dead staples because majority of the crowd was there for the rib cook-off. So they figured atleast the non-fans would have recognized the 'hits' and enjoy themselves. I always enjoy when Ratdog play Shakedown St. and Loser. The Even So > October Queen was really cool for me as I was sure at the time that I had never heard it before that night and it seemed so fresh to me. Thanks again for making this available.

Subject: Excellent!

A lot of people have rippedon Ratdog, but this show proves them all wrong. I admit it's a little heavy on the Dead's "Greatest Hits," but they give the songs enough of a re-working to make them all really special. Plus, the band is tight, Weir's voice is in fine form, and you can tell the band is really into it. A definite downloader.
