I have seen Ratdog absolutely tear it up and I have seen them as disinterested as possible. When on they are very, very good.
Good show.

Subject: RATDOGGIE
In a review I wrote about the Twin River show from July 11, I mentioned the guy that didn't get it.. Let me post that here and hope that he comes back to follow up..
'I was reading a review on another Ratdog show last week and the reviewer said he just didn't get it. Don't worry son, there are plenty of 4 minute wonders out there that can hold a limited attention span. This music is about loving your neighbor, accepting that there are all kinds of different people in this the world and that someone like Bob Wier can bring them together in complete peace and bliss for an evening. " This show like many here on archive are brief records of our existence on this planet, and hopefully a much better legacy than some of the other things that were doing right now. Listen, Love and Peace!

Subject: You don't have to get But.....
For the dude who "doesnt get it" your entitled to your opinion, but if you have not seen them live when they are fire-in on all cylinders its hard to explain. If you haven't you should catch a show. I did and that was about 12 shows ago....
But I digress i give this one a 10!

This is a great show and a great recording. I just the Bob at Summerfest in Milwaukee (with Steve Kimmock sitting in!!!) and was pleasantly suprised to see this show on the board.
-Bob breaks out his old Gibson ES-335 guitar (a mainstay of the Grateful Dead’s Wall of Sound era, but very seldom seen onstage since), making a rare appearance for part of the set.
-also check out The Waybacks (w/ Bob Weir) 10-08-2006 at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park - San Francisco, CA recorded w/ the U89i's(same rig)
-Thanks to Jeff Huff and Jamie VanGee for helping make this happen
