Such a great night, the rocks were glowing that night!

Subject: who's keller?
i dont know anybody who did this whole tour with me that actually went in for any keller shows, except maybe the last song of his night that he played with bobby. keller is a gimmick, and his schtick is funny once but gets way old after that. you don't go up on stage with bob weir and pretend to play a trumpet like a goddamn 8 year old does while taking a crap.

that being said, kimock smoked it with bobby this whole tour. happy to see mark back, and this spring tour was sick no less, but kimock was a graceful sit-in.

Subject: Long live Bobby
All I can say to describe this unbelievable night is that right after this show I literally almost quit my job, jumped in the car and followed Ratdog the rest of their tour. Just like the old days! Absolutely beautiful. Keller was awesome and totally set the mood for the rest of the evening.

Subject: amazing
I am very happy that after playing for over 35-40 years, bobby can still blow minds away. I was lucky enough to attend this show thanks to ashley, and am surprised no one mentioned that it sounded like Bobby was getting a few tears in his eyes and throat during standing on the moon. Also, did anyone else notice the bird flying around Keller and Bob during the acoustic Dark Star! Holy shit, i nearly crapped my pants it was so profound.

Subject: What would Keller say? (Keller420)
First off, I wasnt at this show. I am a local va boy. I live in F-Burg.(Keller's hometown. If u were a true Keller fan u wouldnt make silly comments about an aids tree to other family. The scene isnt about wrong or right or overlapping sets its all about the love. Kids like u (Keller420) give us all a bad name.

Show is tight and sounds great for outdoor venue.
when I d/l the entire show in mp3, it was missing WRS > Let it Grow and Uncle, but got it fixed and fits on 3cd.

Subject: I love it!!!
I was not there, but this recording is fantastic. It captures the perfect balance of all the elements of the live feeling, as much as possible without being there.
Let me say one thing: Steve Kimock is truly a master. He can play with anybody and make the music so much more beautiful.
The first half of the first set is played at a very slow tempo, slower than normal. but it still rocks.
This BEW is blistering hot!! Steve's solo is so f!@#$%g amazing! Best tone ever!
Let it Grow jams! TOO is dark and psychadelic! Yummy!
The entire show is SICK! As long as Steve is playing with Ratdog they are one of the top 5 tours out there this summer! Go see them if you can. I need to!

Subject: The source of this........
The source of this one has got to be a joke,I mean that shit looks like quantum physics instead of recording equipment or conversions to me,that's f*cking ridiculous. But other than that, a solid and kicking Ratdog show.BTW,if Burning,Use Cool Edit Pro to be able to make each set a single disc, why use 3????

Subject: This Show Rocked
I was at this show and it was fanfrickintabulous!

It was hot as hell & Keller played for wayyy too long. I wish he would learn to stop playing after about 15-20 minutes, then I might not detest him.

I really dug the shakedown, brown eyed women, TOO and Standin'. Beautiful night at the Rocks then I got on a jetplane & flew back home on Wednesday. Great freakin awesome show, if a little slow, subdued & definitely "dark." I was a spinning fool, however. I got two killer burritos from this guy on the ramp leading out of the park and was off into the Denver night searching for oxygen to breathe..

& please red rocks put more bathrooms at the top of the damn stairs!!

Subject: awesome
bob weir tore this shit up!! wasnt really looking forward to this show after last years dissapointing cheese show, but wow. The music was amazing and nothing compares to how the music lifted my mood after being busted by red rocks security. Vibes were amazing and walking back to the parking lot i was just in a daze. Awesome show. Get it.

Subject: not the last to say
First to say that this was probably the best RatDog show... perhaps ever. Hot and oppressive in the Rocks. Keller Williams opened with his own Killer set. Weir came out to play Darkstar with Williams to close out his set. Spectacular! Short break and RatDog enters the stage. just a little roughage at the beginning but soon everyone got into the groove. Dark and introspective show (or was that the shrooms?) Kimock stepped up nicely to fill the recent gap in the band. From what little I've heard of this recording the sound is good, enough crowd noise to help you feel there. Even when Bobbie falters here or there or tears up (along with me) during Standing on the Moon. just the best couple of sets laid out by them that I've heard. Get it. And get the Keller Williams opening, if for nothing more than the Darkstar.

Notes

(1) w/ Keller Williams
(2) Weir on acoustic guitar
(3) w/ Steve, Jay, and Robin

Entire show with Steve Kimock
