8-Bit Porno8-Bit Porno - Arpeggio [rb101] ()

The third 'official' release from noise jam band 8-Bit Porno is closer to a live performance than the two previous records. Includes everything from a 'prepared' Rhodes piano to broken spring reverbs being tossed into a half-stack.

....I think my eplilepsy is kicking in!!!....

Think Beavis on triple espresso...this is the soundtrack for "The Great Cornholio"!

If we ever want to bring a third-world dictator out of his fortress again, I strongly suggest this track, played ad infinitum....Semper Fi!

Elaborate improvisational pieces, reminding Zga in their golden years. Nothing revolutionary, yet very delightful and tasty (soundwise). Highly recommeneded for both novices and hardcore avant-gard fans.

Subject: Scanners much?
During a few moments of "Arpeggio", I was reminded of the Howard Shore compositions for the David Croenenberg film "Scanners", which should be taken as a compliment. I also enjoyed the nasty disintegration at the end of the track...
