that comment was lacking any specifics,
assuming you are coming from standard rhetoric about depleted uranium in the United States, the main government denials are around the information on particularized, pulverized, or fragmented du, especially inside the body.
The misinformation is usually refering to Depleted Uranium in an undischarged shell or storage form, most of the radiation coming off that form cannot penetrate the skin! They omit the studies of the main danger of du which is after it has been blown up, fragmented or fired out of the barrel of a gun. One ounce can be pulverized into millions of micron and submicon sized particles that are blowing in the sand making the entire region if not more dosed with radiation with a halflife 4.5 billion years.

I refuse to be upset about the pure insanity of this. Like many of the invented realisms by unlearned people, and nutcases, this one is not only a waste of space, and time, but based or zero understanding of the subject. If you wish to learn about something read a book, papers, ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂLearnÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ the subject.
