Subject: Great Tale Of The Canadian Wilderness
This film ranks right up there with early John Wayne movies (pre-Stagecoach) for original stories and lots of action. It even has a pseudo French-Canadian. I'm glad to see this film in any form, even chopped up. Anyway, the place to report physical problems in the film is to the left under "Resources" where there is link called, appropriately enough, "Report errors". Reporting problems with downloading or physical problems with the film does not belong in this part of the page where we are critiquing the film's writing, acting, direction, and other artistic merits of the film. I get really tired of people bashing the efforts of all of those people at archive.org who spend a lot of time rescuing old, rotting films from disappearing forever. I'm grateful they are doing it, and I am amazed that they get such good results considering the condition of the films they have to deal with. I hope they can rescue all of the old films before they're gone so that we can enjoy them all in a form that won't disappear.

This was probably a very good Kermit Maynard western and, don't get me wrong, I don't mind a few dozen slices. That's just the way some of these old films are. Unfortunately this print has large chunks missing and the rest is so splicy that it's very hard to watch and follow. The one star rating is for this print only.
