This debut release from Poznan, Poland-based producer Cristopher Pokora is a real treat for the ears. Drawing influences from a wide range of electronic music, such as the British Ninjatune label, l’eau du robinet (French for “tap water”) is a musical project which is remarkably individual in its outlook.
Describing his music as a blend of electronica, chill out jazz, nu jazz and scratches, you’ll also hear snippets of spoken word audio that Cut Chemist would be proud of, as well as a compelling hybrid of movie soundtracks from the fifties and sixties and a range of nicely selected and gracefully matured jazz samples.
Cristopher started out playing guitar in various reggae outfits before graduating to music production and arrangement and he hopes that Tap Water Drinkers gives a rich and organic flavour.
We’re proud to introduce this collection of twelve carefully selected tracks from Cristopher’s psyche which demonstrate another side to Random Flow’s hip-hop leanings.
