Five stars and more
Thank you LMA. I've heard Robyn Hitchcock after almost twenty years and it's fantastic. This show is very very amazing and the sound quality is better than an official release. Please, give me another show like this. Shine on you crazy diamond!!!

Amazing show
This is one of the best gems I have found on the Archive. Robyn Hitchcock is in fine form solo acoustic/electric and with drum accompaniment on this radio show. As it is a radio show, the sound quality is pristine and the song selection is quite impressive. With a number of tracks off of his "Spooked" album, he also presents a nice cross section of his entir discography. Highlight tracks include "Chinese Bones" which is both poignant and haunting, "Queen Elvis" which is in great form here, "Creeped Out" and "Full Moon..."
are also particularly stellar. Other best tracks include "Television" and "My Wife and My Dead Wife." It is certainly worth checking out from an absolutely stellar and unique musician and artist.

a national treasure
a beautiful radio recording and performance in front of an audience from a master, beautifully acompanyed by the of motreal drummer for some of the tracks and its always a pleasure hearing Robyn tinkle the ivories instead of guitar on some songs. Mr. Hitchcock is in fine form with a satifying mixture of old and new songs. now that Doctor Who has been so brilliantly revived lets hope that when it comes to the next regeneration the producers look in the direction of mr. H.He would be perfect..no really... okay only joking about that last bit (but i can dream). Download this show if you love the man's unique talent or if you wish to begin loving this brilliant and unique songwriter.. as english as tuppence
